Join us for an unforgettable taste of West Coast cuisine and get your feet wet on this special three-day adventure at Nootka Marine Adventures most remote luxury destination, Newton Cove Resort.

Hosted by our own executive chef Kimberley Harding, you will experience gourmet, sea-to-table cuisine, forage in the untouched rainforest for wild mushrooms and edibles and feel the magic of feasting outdoors on beautiful weather-beaten beaches. Get hooked on the thrill of the catch on a professionally guided fishing charter, and completely indulge in true, west coast culture.

Vancouver Island Brewing will be offering craft beer tastings & food pairings throughout our 2020 Culinary Adventure.

Take home your catch with a recipe booklet from our beach feast on Catala Island, a wild edible foraging guide, souvenirs, and memories to last a lifetime.

Included in your cost is: Accommodation based on double occupancy in a suite with 2 single beds or 1 king bed, all meals and wine, guided fishing charter, fish processing, and demonstrations.

Day 1
3:00pm: Arrival at Newton Cove Resort, welcome and check-in
3:30pm: Educational Tour and Wild Edible Foraging at Garden Point
7:00pm: Gourmet four-course dinner with wine & beer pairings

Day 2
6:00am: Made-to-order hot breakfast
6:30am: Depart for full-day fishing charter (with lunch)
4:00pm: Return to Newton Cove Resort
5:30pm: Fireside appetizers and cooking demonstration
7:00pm: Gourmet four-course dinner with wine & beer pairings

Day 3
6:00am – Hot Breakfast made to order
6:30am – Depart for Half Day of Guided Fishing (with lunch)
12:30pm – Return to the Resort to refresh & drop of catch
2:45pm – Depart for Catala Island Beach Feast
3:00pm – Catala Island Exploration
(Skiff will be onsite to transfer guests to and from the beach)
6:00pm – Dinner with Local Wine Pairings, prepared over open fire
Dusk – Return to Newton Cove Resort
9:00pm – Late Night Snack

Day 4
Until 9am – Champagne Breakfast served
