Guided Fishing and Spa Protocols

For Immediate Release, June 8
COVID-19 – Opening Day – June 25, 2020

We are all very excited to welcome our guests back to Nootka Marine Adventures’ Moutcha Bay Resort as soon as travel restrictions are lifted.  We are continuing to focus on June 25, 2020 for our opening this season.

We have been working hard to ensure your safety during your stay, putting in place all necessary protocols and practices. You can find our protocols on the website through the COVID button.  As mentioned in our last release we will have hand-sanitizer stations throughout the property, we will have plexiglass up in food services, dockshack and front desk for your personal protection.  We will have masks available for all guests, if you do not have one of your own.

We are also excited to be able to offer guided fishing and wildlife tours with our protocols in place, if you have not yet reserved please contact our team and make your reservation today.  You can find the protocols through the  button below. We will be offering the same great experience with only a few changes; all fishers or tour goers will need to wear masks while on the boats and will need to try and maintain social distancing as much as possible.  Regular routine cleaning will take place before, during and after every trip.  We will be reducing the time on the water by 1 hour to allow for appropriate cleaning of all aspects of the vessel.

Our Salal and Sea Spa will be opening June 25th and will offer a variety of services while respecting and adhering to all necessary protocols.  We hope that you will enjoy this new service at Moutcha Bay.  The team has been hard at work getting the space and services ready for you to enjoy, reach out to our team to make your reservation today.

We really appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through these protocols and changes that are ahead of us.  We want to make sure you have a great experience when staying with us, to make sure you know what expect we will be reaching out to you prior to your arrival.  At that time, we will be asking you questions from the BC Health COVID survey.  We are sorry for the intrusion however it is a necessary protocol; we will be recording your responses in our systems.

From all of us at Nootka Marine Adventures, we are looking forward to having you up at the resort.
