  • Incredible West Coast Fishing Lodge

..."But best of all were the friendly and attentive staff who would do anything to make your stay great. And then there was the cuisine, prepared by a very talented chef, an unbelievable gourmet experience. And then there were salmon, lots of them if you could get outside the last rocks. We enjoyed many of the guests as well as there were numbers of successful and happy people with lots of good stories."...

  • A Little Piece of Paradise

"My wife and I just returned home from a 2 day 3 night fishing stay at Newton Cove Resort. We arrived at Moutcha Bay and were greeted by a happy staff who quickly had us introduced to our fishing guide and loaded on our boat and over to Newton Cove. We have been to many fishing lodges in the past and we were very curious as to what was in store for us here. Well to say the least we were seriously impressed! The first view of the lodge was impressive sitting back in a secluded bay with sparkling calm water surrounded by a rain forest. Greeted by smiling dock hands and management we quickly began to feel relaxed and comfortable. The food is amazing, both breakfast and dinner were worth the price alone! The fishing was spectacular both days! The staff go out of their way to make you feel at home and our stay went by way too fast. We will be back soon!"

  • Outstanding Experience!

"Newton Cove Resort is one of the finest fishing resorts we have visited in all my long years of fishing. Starting with the great facilities, comfort and atmosphere to the friendly staff and fishing guides that are eager to help in any way they can to the great food! Not to mention the fishing…You are very close to the fishing grounds and the fishing is always outstanding!! When it comes their manager, Kimberley I can’t say enough about her or her talented staff… Kimberley has a natural ability to be motivating and encouraging to all her employees while at the same time providing clear and focused instruction on where and how to fish the area to those who ask… and most importantly she makes it fun just to be there!"

  • This resort has it all

"Just returned from an amazing fishing trip out of Newton Cove resort. I had heard good things about the resort but it exceeded all my expectations. Imagine a floating resort in the wilderness, with modern comfortable rooms, a super friendly and competent staff who take care of all your needs and feed you gourmet food."

  • A+ for Nootka Sound Resort

"Took our son for a college graduation adventure trip and it was amazing. We love to fish and this was our first experience with being "spoiled" while vacation-fishing. Everyone was so nice, accommodating and knowledgeable. The facilities were well equipped & super clean. Sleeping on the water is just special and the beds are comfy. Maybe stayed up a little too late, glued to the pool table for a night of fun and libations - but that just adds to the challenge of chasing after those early AM fish. We booked a guided trip (to get the lay of the waters), as well as renting one of their boats. The boats are terrific and come with all your basic fishing needs. PS- don't bother bringing rain gear, they provide you HH."

  • The real deal - fishing, camaraderie, and fantastic wildlife viewing

"Unbelievable scenery, food 10/10, great ambience, hardworking and knowledgeable guides. We went to this resort on the recommendation of friends and were thrilled with our experience. Josh (chef) simply outdid himself every meal, all the staff and Hannah (resort manager) simply could not do enough for us, and we quickly agreed this was a special place that we will return to, hopefully many times. It is an easy and interesting place to get to, and the wildlife viewing extraordinary."

  • Magical!

"My husband, two service dogs and I visited here back In July for 4 days. We stayed in the camping waterfront yurts. Stunning views, amazing staff, beautiful yurt with more amenities than you think and so many wonderful things to do and see. Hands down the best place for anglers. But, if you are not an angler, there's wildlife to see either by renting a boat or getting a guided tour, caves to explore, suspended bridges to traverse over waterfalls, water in each direction and tons of hiking/ exploring, cragging etc."

  • Wildlife Tour, Moutcha Bay

Highly recommend the wild life tour at Moutcha Bay Resort. It was one of the best boat tours we have ever been on. Our tour guide Sam was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and areas history. We had a great time!
