If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Our stay in the luxury yurt was nothing short of spectacular, and renting the 24 ABD self-guided boat made for the ultimate fishing adventure. We caught an incredible amount of fish, saw tons of wildlife, and every detail of the resort is pure luxury. The staff were welcoming, the atmosphere was wonderfully family-friendly, and everyone in our group had the time of their lives. We’re already counting down the days until we can come back next season!

Our Fleet
Nootka Marine Adventures operates the largest fleet of guide and rental boats on British Columbia’s west coast. Since 2023, 20 brand-new North River boats—each equipped with Seakeeper stabilizers—have joined our fleet, along with 12 new ABD rental boats (22’ and 24’). Enjoy unmatched comfort and stability while fishing for salmon, lingcod, and halibut on BC’s west coast.

The setting is breathtakingly beautiful, the staff are incredibly friendly, the rooms and especially the beds were very comfortable, and the food was amazing. On top of all of this they have new, high-quality boats and experienced/passionate fishing guides. The guides work extremely hard to maximize your catch and were good about providing assistance based on client needs. I caught my limit as beginner.
A must-see spot in BC! We spent 3 nights in the luxury yurts and loved every minute. The views are 10/10, the yurt is awesome, spacious and clean. The staff were lovely and booking via the phone was really easy. The road into Moutcha Bay is really off-the-grid but makes getting there so special. Perfect place to unplug and enjoy the beauty of nature. Highly recommend, we’ll be back!!
