Enlighten Your Palette

Our devoted guests rave about our in-house Chef who carefully plans each day’s menu to enlighten your palette and fill your belly. Our Chef takes great pride in using as many local ingredients as possible, including fresh produce sent directly to us from our sister company, Seaview Farms on Vancouver Island. We also grow our own herbs and vegetables on-site in charming deck gardens. From hot, filling breakfasts, artisanal on-board lunches and four-course dinners with wine, each meal is created from scratch and with passion.

Late afternoon appetizers served alfresco may include sumptuous cheese platters or fresh-grilled garlic prawns. Our dinner menu may include chilled asparagus soup, roasted beet and walnut salad with chèvre, fresh-baked parmesan rolls and braised chicken Provençal with French fingerling potatoes, asparagus spears and herbes de Provence. Meals are served in our ocean view dining room.

Activities And Amenities

For guests who enjoy a slower pace on the water, grab one of our complimentary stand-up paddleboards or sea kayaks and experience the ocean up close in the calm blue waters of the cove. You might even spot some of our local wildlife, including eagles, bears, sea otters and seals. We also offer on-the-water wildlife tours with our in-house wildlife expert.

Our guests have access to a 24-hour snack bar in the dining room, stocked with plenty of delicious refreshments and non-alcoholic beverages. Our licensed guest lounge also offers a snack bar with beer, wine and spirits available for purchase. Play a game of bumper pool, poker or watch television on the big screen on our comfortable couches. Or simply relax on the decks beside the fire – we’ve got blankets ready to keep you warm while you enjoy the beautiful west coast scenery.

Corporate And Large Groups

If you are staying with us as part of a corporate group, ask us about using our common areas for meetings or presentations. We excel in hosting large groups. Our outstanding service team is known for our genuine hospitality and attention to every detail.

A place to cherish and protect

The women-led business of Nootka Marine Adventures (NMA, which operates three fishing resorts) prioritizes catering to its guests, while also educating them on how to protect the environment, during fishing and kayaking tours, for example. NMA is already well-known as a thriving fishing company; now the staff members want to provide context as to why this is a place to cherish and protect.
