Forest Cabins

Wake up in the trees

Our Forest Cabins sit in The Grove, a quiet stretch of forest a few minutes from the marina and the Conuma Grill. Each cabin was built into the standing timber, with a cantilevered deck reaching out the front and a boardwalk leading to your door. Where a cedar or fir stood in the deck’s path, the builders framed around it, and the tree rises through the boards where it has always stood.

Step onto the deck and the west coast is all around you: forest on three sides, the mountains above, and the inlet running out below. Fish all day, or take the water at your own pace: wildlife and heritage tours, kayaks and paddleboards, or a hike out to the Upana Caves caves. However you spend the day, you come back to your own quiet corner of the resort.

Simple, comfortable, and yours

There are eight Forest Cabins, each built for one or two guests. Inside, the essentials are done properly: a comfortable bed, a cabin that holds its temperature in any weather, and blackout curtains for sleeping past first light if the fish will let you. Out front, a covered deck with seating for two is the place to settle in as the resort goes quiet.

  • Sleeps 1–2 guests
  • Two twin beds or one king
  • Heating and cooling to keep the cabin comfortable in any weather
  • Covered private deck with seating for two
  • Table for two inside
  • Bar fridge with freezer space
  • Blackout curtains and sheers
  • Linens, towels, and blankets provided
  • Assigned parking for one vehicle close by; overflow parking available

What to know before you book

Every Forest Cabin stay includes full access to the resort: the full-service marina, guided and self-guided fishing, the Conuma Grill, kayak and paddleboard rentals, the playground for families, and the communal BBQ area to cook up the day’s catch.

A few things worth knowing:

  • Shared washroom facilities are a short walk from the cabins, with complimentary hot showers, flush toilets, and sinks. A dishwashing station sits at the nearest washroom block.
  • Morning coffee is at the Conuma Grill, alongside breakfast. The cabins keep things simple.
  • Unplug and reconnect with nature. Wi-Fi access is limited in the cabins, with complimentary Wi-Fi at the Restaurant and the Dock Shack.
  • Two guests maximum per cabin, adults or children.
  • Select cabins are pet-friendly, with the standard nightly pet fee and policies.
